I spent my birthday in Turin, one of my favorite cities in Northern Italy. We visited the infamous Shroud of Turin, open for the first time in about a decade, walked around town, and enjoyed a mostly beautiful day.
One of our stops was at the Caffe Torino, a centuries old institute in the Piazza San Carlo. Their coffee is delicious and the pastries looked amazing, especially in the spacious salon filled with frescoes and mirrors.
