McCurry is most famous for the striking portrait of an Afghan girl that appeared on the cover of a 1985 National Geographic magazine (photo below for your memory). It was an amazing exhibition overall. His photos are crisp and arresting. I only just discovered his blog and would strongly recommend it to anyone interested in photography, travel, Asia, or just plain beautiful images. There's war, pain, and violence but also stillness and joy - amazing.
